Pick up a second-hand bike from Recycle bike charity shop and cycle home, where you can store your bike for free anytime. Start your lazy weekend ordering an all-American burger at Mustang 'S' Ally, just a short walk away from your apartment. Visit the nearby Northern Print art gallery and create your own print work! Spend your evening with your friends pub-crawling on the Quayside; the traditional Victorian pub The Cumberland Arms is definitely worth a try! Later on, catch a film at the independent Tyneside Cinema.
Get out from your comfy double bed and step out to your balcony to catch some morning rays and sip your morning coffee outside. Do your grocery shopping in Tesco supermarket just down the road and make something delicious for breakfast in your fully integrated kitchenette. If you prefer to grab something on the way, head to the Tower Gallery and Cafe and order a hot panini, while you check out the urban graffiti.
After a long day of classes, come back to Stepney Yard and chill out in the open plan living area, while you catch up with your friends. Your room will have plenty of storage spaces, you will find it easy to keep everything tidy. If you have some work to do, escape to one of the study areas or use your generous sized desk study area in your room. Take advantage of the all-inclusive Wi-Fi and the fast speed broadband to finish those assignments quickly and stay on top of your coursework. If you feel like working out when you finished with your studies, get down to the on-site gym, where you will find everything you need from cardio to weight training machines.

And last, but by no means least we have, Tiger Tiger, which is a jungle themed nightclub with everything you need from a club, whether it be cocktails or a packed dancefloor, Tiger Tiger has got you covered! Make your way on over to Newgate Street and see what the club is all about first-hand!
The city has a number of ways to keep the community together including: The Grand Lantern Parade, which is a magical live music event, incorporating light and movement. The procession makes its way through The Alnwick Garden and into Alnwick Town creating a spectacular visual feast for everyone and is run annually, make sure you get your tickets.
The transport in Newcastle is very efficient, offering everything from bus routes, cycle paths, underground metros and train stations. The city itself also has it’s own airport, so if you’re looking to take a mini-break abroad then this is the place to go to as it flies to most international destinations.
