Location:

Liverpool is one of the most popular cities in the United Kingdom and the city boasts a population of roughly 2,200,000. The city is one of the most advanced areas of the North of England and has a very high rate of university graduates too, which is no surprise as it’s home to some very popular universities; University of Liverpool - which is a Russel Group University,  Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University, while still boasting some top colleges too.

Culture:

Once the European City of Culture, Liverpool has a number of museums that commemorate the history and culture of the city such as; the World Museum, the Museum of Liverpool, the Merseyside Maritime Museum, the Walker Art Gallery and Sudley House, all of which come very highly recommended.

There are a number of cinemas in Liverpool too, the latest and greatest from Hollywood are shown at the local Odeon (With its own IMAX screen) and at Showcase Cinemas or if you're looking for more independent features, then you should check out the Picturehouse at FACT.

Nightlife:

The nightlife of Liverpool has been reviewed as being one of the best in the UK, a rich lifestyle, full of your fair share of nightclubs, pubs and bars will be sure to keep you coming back again and again.

There's something for everyone, regardless what you fancy, you'll always be able to find a way to enjoy yourself, even if going to the pub or to a club isn't the most fun thing for you, then you should check out some of the local theatres, too!

Activities:

The city has a number of emerging music festivals, like the Liverpool Sound City Festival, where acts have like Ed Sheeran, whose first ever gig was the festival, we recommend you grab tickets while you still can, because these sell out mighty quickly! The city also has a number of arts festivals and film festivals and premieres too.

Transport:

The city’s transportation is incredibly efficient, award-winning bus services and train stations are a big part of the city’s infrastructure. The city also has an international airport, named after 25% of The Beatles and musician John Lennon, which flies everywhere you need.
