Location:

With a rough population of 751,500 the city of Leeds stands as one of the most densely populated areas in West Yorkshire, the city itself has a huge history, a wonderfully inviting aura and a competitive football team, what’s not to like!?

Culture:

The city of Leeds has always been very proud of their rich and vibrant history, and you’ll see the great history of the city in one of the many museums in the city, whether that be The Leeds City Museum, the Abbey House Museum, Temple Newsam or the Leeds Art Gallery.

The city has a wide variety of cinemas available for people to watch the latest and greatest films today, whether that be Vue Cinemas and Everyman Cinemas, which have tiered seating or if you’re looking for some more independent films, then we recommend joining one of the city’s film societies.

Nightlife:

The city's nightlife is geared more towards students, given how popular the city is for students and how popular the universities and colleges are for students too, with the University of Leeds awarded the best university for nightlife. The city still has a wide variety of pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants for people to visit, too. If you're looking for award-winning pubs and a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone, then Leeds will be the place to visit.

Activities:

The most well known activity in the city is probably the famous Leeds Festival which features some of the very best in music right now performing every year and has seen some of the biggest acts of a generation come and perform at the festival. The tickets can sell out very quickly however, so you’ll want to grab tickets as soon as possible.

Transport:

Leeds’ transportation routes is some of the best in the UK, with a great selection of different routes, whether that be a train, the bus service, the shuttle service or their excellent cycle paths. Leeds also has its airport which it shares with the neighbouring Bradford, which is called Leeds Bradford Airport.
